Founded by Peter E. Rork, M.D., the Mission of Dog Is My Copilot, Inc. is to relocated dogs (and some cats) from needless euthanasia through its innovative air transport program. Dog Is My Copilot, Inc. transports at risk animals from overcrowded shelters to adoption centers in other geographic regions where loving families are waiting to adopt the animals. DIMC is a 501(c)3-approved non-profit based in Jackson Hole, Wyo., with a supportive and engaged board of directors. It works with a network of nearly 100 municipal animal shelters and nonprofit animal rescue organizations in 15 states in the West to coordinate flights.
