Drew Christopher Brees is an American football quarterback for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League. He had a successful college football career at Purdue University, becoming one of the most decorated players in Purdue and Big Ten Conference history.In the first game of the season, a Monday Night Football match against the Houston Texans, Brees threw for 370 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception as the Saints overcame a slow start to win 30–28. In March 17, 2020, Brees signed a two-year, $50 million contract extension with the Saints.
